Message I replaced the air regulator yesterday and it answered my questions, yes it does effect drive ability as well as idle, basically it's like having a big vacuum leak making the car run rich. Cold start it would rev to 2500 rpm then drop to almost a stall then finally idle out, now starts revs to 900 and drops to 750 after a few min plus much smoother under acceleration. Hope this helps others. Thanx for you help
